Keyboard Shortcut Quick Guide

Summary: Superalgos offers a number of keyboard shortcuts to make working with the platform more efficient and user friendly. Keyboard Shortcuts improve your Workflow and contain functions like recording GIF`s.
Here is the current list of all implemented shortcuts and options for customization:
General Shortcuts
  • Save the current workspace: Ctrl + Shift + Alt + Key-S
  • Display Reference Connections: Ctrl + Shift + Alt + Key-R
  • Display Parent Connections: Ctrl + Shift + Alt + Key-C
  • Adjust Chart Aspect Ratio: Ctrl + Shift + Alt + Key-A
  • Toggle Map Mode: Ctrl + Shift + Alt + Key-M
Node Manipulation Shortcuts
  • While hovering over a node: Select a Node to move Ctrl + Shift + Alt + Key-Z
  • While hovering over nothing: Clears the selected node Ctrl + Shift + Alt + Key-Z
  • Move Selected node to current position of Mouse Pointer: Ctrl + Shift + Alt + Key-X
  • Retrieve a lost/out of bounds node: Ctrl + Shift + Alt + Key-K
Productivity Shortcuts
  • Capture a static PNG image: Ctrl + F8
  • Start capturing a GIF video: Ctrl + F9 hit the same key combination again to end the capture.
  • Start capturing a WEBM video: Ctrl + F10 hit the same key combination again to end the capture.
  • Display animation performance: Ctrl + Shift + Alt + F11
  • Print Node Object of current Node to browser console: Ctrl + Shift + Alt + F12
Custom Shortcuts to Nodes

It is also possible to set a custom shortcut to any node you would like. This is useful for accessing frequenty used nodes.
You may define this type of shortcut using the following procedure:
  • Hover the mouse pointer over the target node until the menu opens up. This puts the node in focus.
  • Click Ctrl or Cmd + Alt + your preferred key to assign the shortcut.
  • A sign will appear below the node confirming the assignation of the shortcut.
Repeat the same procedure to remove a shortcut.
  • It is also possible to set a custom shortcut to any node you would like. Simply hover over a node and hit Ctrl + Alt + your preferred key to assign the shortcut.
