Summary: The Braid Filter show the strength of a trend and can be used as a confirmation indicator.

Braid Filter On the Charts

The Braid filter is essentially the difference in high and low values taken from three exponential moving averages of differing lengths. This difference is then compared to the Average True Range of the price action to determine if the current trend is strong.

The parameters of the Braid Filter can be changed by locating and opening the under -> under "Braid Filter" .
