SMMA

foundations.png
Summary: The Smoothed Moving Average (SMMA) is similar to the Simple Moving Average (SMA) in that it aims to reduce noise rather than reduce lag.
SMMA on the Charts
The SMMA is a combination of the EMA and SMA and uses all prices in it's lookback period, but assigns lower weight on older prices.
When compared to the EMA and the SMA, the SMMA will produce a value between the other two moving averages.
This indicator produces two SMMA values; a fast and a slow period value.
